Opportunity Classes (OC) offer advanced opportunities for talented students. However, admission to these classes requires thorough preparation and a solid grasp of the assessment criteria. Our tailored OC tutoring services are designed to guide students through this preparation. We provide personalised guidance on study techniques, exam strategies, and time management skills crucial for success in OC Test preparation.

Opportunity Class tutoring covers three key modules:

  • Reading Comprehension: These skills are further developed by practicing with a variety of passages and questions, which help students develop strategies to understand and analyse written information.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: We strengthen students’ mathematical abilities through comprehensive coverage of arithmetic, geometry, measurement, and problem-solving.
  • Thinking Skills: We work on improving students’ reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills through exercises in verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, abstract reasoning, and spatial reasoning.

We offer OC Test tutoring as online, private, face-to-face, and group lessons.

Excellent tutoring centre that has especially given my son Joshua the edge in his final years at school. Particularly during lockdown, PE set up an outstanding online tutoring service which kept students motivated and assisted them with their learning. PE gave my son the extra edge he needed to perform better in year 12 by giving their own pratice HSC papers with an indepth 2 hour review after each practice exam. My kids have been going to this centre for the past few years and it’s been a really positive experience for them. The tutors are really friendly and helpful, the centre has a nice and clean interior, and everyone is easy to get along with. When we leave to try other places, we always end up back at Pioneer. There is really no place that can beat it in my opinion.

Having only been at Pioneer Education for a few months, it has been a blast! The teachers to the fellow peers are all welcoming and always put on a positive attitude. The atmosphere and environment of Pioneer Education is no like any other. I have been to countless tutoring centres but nothing has come even close to Pioneer Education. 10/10 would recommend future students to attend as Pioneer with help you with any academic issues you have and adjust their teaching to fit your learning needs.

Ordinarily I would hate tutoring on a Saturday; I still do but this place is so calming and helpful it’s easy to get over it. The tutors know what they’re doing and will help you with any assessments so well done on the recruiting. The setting looks incredible, unlike other tutoring places they didn’t just get a random abandoned building and put a few whiteboards in, they have actually put in the effort to make the place look nice. Normally if you can’t attend a tutoring class then it’s bad luck but at Pioneer you won’t be charged for missing a class. I’ve only been here for about 4-5 weeks but it’s clear to see why there’s only 5 star reviews on this place.

After a year of education at Pioneer Learning Academy, I can honestly say I saw an improvement in my marks incomparable to any other tutoring companies I studied at. The group tutoring works great and allows you to work with other people to understand the concepts, and the tutors are always willing to help with your questions. Not only did Pioneer help with the topics I studied, but they also helped with a study routine and what to cover. Having high achieving and future teachers work as tutors in a group environment is a fantastic way to learn. I would highly recommend!

If you need to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session, please notify us as soon as possible. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
